These Horizontal Tanks are the most common and most popular types of aboveground Storage Tanks. They are available in single wall, single wall double bottom and double wall models.

General characteristics:

• ULC and UL certified
• Capacity up to 200 000L (44 000 imperial gallons)
• Standard models offered from 1139L (250G) to 9092L (2000G)
• Available in single wall, single wall double bottom or double wall models
  • Double wall is 300-degree wrap
  • Double wall integrity is monitored with a vacuum gauge or leak detector in the interstice
• Available with more than one compartment to store several flammable products using the same tank footprint
• Interior coating for jet fuel is available

Vertical tanks

Below model shown: 45 000L vertical tank. 

Because of their reduced footprint, this type of vertical tank is generally preferred where limited space is a major factor.

• Capacity up to 175,000 litres (38,500 imperial gallons)
• Available in single or double wall models

                  o Double wall is 300-degree wrap

                  o Double wall integrity is monitored with a vacuum gauge or leak detector in the interstice

• Interior coating for jet fuel is available
